Shakespeare Quotes...
Today I read
Titus Andronicus. While no Macbeth, it was a really good play. It's odd that it's one of Shakespeare's lesser know plays. Here's some tidbits I enjoyed:
Demetrius: Villain, what hast thou done?
Aaron: That which thou canst undo.
Chiron: Thou hast undone our mother.
Aaron: Villain, I have done thy mother.
Yes, that means what you think it means.
Aaron (
To the Nurse): Go to the Empress, tell her this I said.
He kills her
Weeke, weeke! So cries a pig prepared to the spit.
Not convinced Aaron is a bastard yet? Here's a great monologue.
Lucius: Art thou not sorry for their heinous deeds?
Aaron: Ay, that I had not done a thousand more.
Even now I curse the day -- and yet I think
